Our dedicated team is the foundation of everything we do at YMCA Camp NAWAKWA. We're a team of enthusiastic professionals trained in health and safety procedures, counseling and camp programs to ensure that you and your family or group have a positive and unforgettable camp experience.

Safety
Health and safety are the top priority at Camp NAWAKWA. We follow industry standard risk management policies and practices, and our staff are certified in first aid and CPR and receive training on camper health and well-being.

At YMCA Camp NAWAKWA, you'll hear a lot of sounds. You'll hear the birds chirping, the wind blowing through the trees and lots of laughter. One thing you won't hear? The dreaded question: "I'm bored, what can we do?" And we think that's pretty magical!
2016 Family Camp and Fall Weekends
We have several planned programs during the fall, winter or spring. If you want to travel to the north woods to relax, just call us and rent a cabin of your choice. Couples can rent any cabin for a low as $95/night. Review the Fall, Winter, and Spring programs here.
- Accommodations
Our cabins and facilities are designed to fit the needs of every family or group, large and small. Camp NAWAKWA is divided into two areas - North and South Camp. both camps offer the same unforgettable experience.
North and South camp both have designated swimming areas and free Wi-Fi is located at the North Camp Welcome Center. Choose from 35 cabins, ranging from our more intimate cabins (sleeping 4-6) to our Bridge Builder, which sleeps 20 guests and is perfect for larger families or special events.
